Founder/Clinical Director & Senior Occupational Therapist
Filippa-Carmelina Gauci
Filippa-Carmelina Gauci is the Founder and Clinical Director of Authentic Purpose. She has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, and over a decade of experience working in the disability industry.
Additionally, Filippa's personal journey has included living with family members with disabilities, and managing her own personal disability which has granted her a unique perspective in her approach.

Filippa was the recipient of the 2024 WA Leaders Scholarship (WA Leaders). In 2025 she was recogonised as The Most Outstanding Occupational Therapist in the Care Sector in Australia (Disability Update), and also The Most Outstanding Occupational Therapist in the Care Sector in the World (The Global Awards).

In addition to her remarkable professional achievements, Filippa has won multiple awards in both Softball and Soccer and continues to live a healthy active lifestyle.

Co-Director/ Head of Inclusive Exercise & Wellness
Anthony C. M. Gauci
As Co-Director and Head of Inclusive Exercise & Wellness, Anthony is dedicated to making fitness accessible for all. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Exercise Science, a Bachelor’s in Education Studies (Health & Physical Education), and certifications in Personal Training and Strength & Conditioning. Anthony has worked in the health and fitness industry since 2013, focusing primarily on NDIS clients since 2020.
Anthony also has lived experience as a neurodivergent individual and a background in competitive Bodybuilding and Freestyle Wrestling. Outside of fitness, he is notably, the author of The Family of Valletta, a historical fiction novel set in 19th-century Malta.
